Chris Kirke, who has served as the president of Moy Park since 2018, is leaving the company.

“Following a successful six years with the business where he demonstrated outstanding leadership, Chris Kirke has chosen to leave the company to pursue other opportunities. We thank Chris for his exceptional contribution, dedicated service and commitment to Moy Park’s success and we wish him every success on his next endeavor,” the company said in a statement.

No successor for Kirke has been planned, as Moy Park’s U.S.-based parent company, Pilgrim’s Pride, has consolidated Moy Park and Pilgrim’s U.K. into one subsidiary, Pilgrim’s Europe, a company spokesperson confirmed. Pilgrim’s Europe is led by Ivan Siqueira, formerly the president of Pilgrim’s U.K.

When Kirke first joined Moy Park, just months after Pilgrim’s Pride acquired Moy Park, he brought to the Northern Ireland-based poultry company more than 26 years of food industry experience, having most recently led the U.S. division of Greencore Group. He succeeded Janet McCollum, who had been with Moy Park for 25 years.

In 2019, Pilgrim’s Pride expanded its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Tulip Limited, a U.K. meat company which later became known as Pilgrim’s U.K. Two years after that, Pilgrim’s Pride further grew with the acquisition of U.K. lamb business, Randall Parker Foods.

Siqueira joined Pilgrim’s Pride in 2022. Prior to that, he was an executive director with Seara Foods, a leading Brazilian food company with an integrated pork and poultry business that, like Pilgrim’s Pride, is affiliated with JBS.
