Arrest made in Mountaire knife threat incident

The alleged threat took place at a Mountaire Farms facility In Millsboro, Delaware.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of threatening a co-worker with a knife at a Mountaire Farms facility.

According to a press release from the Delaware State Police, Neydi Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez, 29, was taken into custody after allegedly pointing a knife at a co-worker at the Mountaire facility on 29005 John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro. The suspect and the 32-year-old victim had apparently been involved in an argument.

The alleged incident took place at 6:18 p.m. on February 7. No injuries occurred.

Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez, Bridgeville, Delaware, faces the following charges:

  • Possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony
  • Aggravated menacing
  • Second-degree reckless endangering

Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on a $22,000 unsecured bond.
