Animal health and nutrition company Alltech opened its first wholly owned office in Mexico in an effort to move closer to its local customers, according to the company.
“Although Alltech has had a strong presence in Mexico for more than 25 years...we look forward now to working directly with our local customers in the region,” said Dr. Guilherme Minozzo, Alltech’s vice president of Latin America.
Alltech de México S.A. de C.V. was originally established through a joint venture between Dr. Pearse Lyons, Alltech’s president and founder, and Dr. Gladys Hoyos. Now moving to complete ownership by Alltech, a new leadership team was announced for Alltech Mexico. Ricardo Sahagún, one of Hoyos’ first employees, will assume responsibilities as general manager. He will be assisted by Paul Kilgallen, manager of Alltech’s SSF plant in Serdan.
