Hendrix Genetics B.V. has been awarded the 2012 RusPrix Award for the best results achieved by a Dutch company on the Russian market, according to the ambassador of the Russian Federation in The Netherlands, who granted the award.
The award was granted for the project between Hypor, the pig breeding division of Hendrix Genetics, and partner Znamensky Selekcionno-Gibridny Center. Together they established the first state-of-the-art genetic center in pig breeding in Russia. The main task of the center is the supply of pig genetics to commercial farms for the production of pig meat for all the citizens of Russia.
