Aviagen Turkeys Ltd. hosted representatives from all the major European turkey operations at a conference from June 19 through 21 to commemorate 50 years of the B.U.T. brand.


The focus of the conference was to reflect on the past 50 years and to look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the next 20 years, as well as celebrate the turkey business in general with the key players in the market, according to Aviagen. Topics of discussion included global market growth, breeding programs, technology and turkey welfare.
