TWJ Farms founder Joe Claybaugh dies at 91

Poultry producer Joe Claybaugh, who founded TWJ Farms and was active in multiple facets of the poultry industry, has died at age 91. Claybaugh's company eventually split into TWJ Farms, TWJ Feeds, Nebraska Eggs and Carroll Trucking.

Poultry producer Joe Claybaugh, who founded TWJ Farms and was active in multiple facets of the poultry industry, has died at age 91.

Claybaugh's company eventually split into TWJ Farms, TWJ Feeds, Nebraska Eggs and Carroll Trucking. He was active in The American Egg Board in the 1990s, in Nebraska Poultry Industries and United Egg Producers, and was a trustee on the Foundation Board at Wayne State College. 

Survivors include two children, William and Julie; one older sister, Helen (Austin) Mutz; a younger brother Glenn (Mary Lou) Claybaugh; six nieces and nephews; six step-children, Bill, Jeanette, Richard, Bob, Susan and Tom Ruyle; and eight step-grandchildren. Burial will be December 8.
