Fortress Technology, which sells metal detection equipment for use in the food industry, hired four members for its UK development and sales team.
The first of four employees to join Fortress, Donna Brown takes on the role of sales coordinator for the UK and Ireland, working in the logistics department to ensure that all customer orders are processed efficiently.
Fiona Wilkins has been appointed in a business development role responsible for covering England's north and Midlands. With previous business development skills honed at BAPP Industrial Supplies, Wilkins will extend the company's customer base to these regions.
Having worked in both sales and recruitment, Mark Lester will develop customer relationships in his business development role with Fortress Technology. Lester's new role is to continue to develop business in the south of England, working with both new and existing clients, selling the features of Fortress metal detection systems and offering them a consultative service.
The final member of the team, Kevin Shackell is a business development engineer responsible for Fortress OEMs. Shackell has worked across a range of markets and was a member of the sales team for Compass Packaging.
