AEB says breakfast represents the strongest growth area for QSRs with sandwiches, wraps and burritos contributing to increased sales volume. A webinar was conducted in February that focused on food service marketing and breakfast foods.

Other AEB activities to promote the benefits of eggs to specialist groups include:

  • A program for the American College of Nurse-Midwives that will feature choline as a nutrient derived from eggs;
  • Product demonstrations at the Gulf Food Show;
  • Advertisements in RetailWire a newsletter for retailers; and
  • Articles in consumer magazines detailing the nutritional benefits of eggs and egg products, including Women’s World, Prevention and Reader’s Digest detailing the nutritional benefits of eggs and egg products.
