Poultry feed mill managers met in Nashville for the 2009 Feed Mill Management Seminar to keep up with the latest ideas and new technology for mill operations, according to a press release by conference sponsor, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association's Poultry & Egg Institute.
This year's program included presentations on:
- new emission standards,
- working with OSHA inspectors,
- dealing with high ingredient costs,
- soybean unloading technology,
- boiler efficiency, and
- pelleting conditioners.
