Diamond V announces a new member of its poultry team. Steve Riggs has joined the company as a poultry specialist. In his new role, Riggs will serve poultry producers, nutrition consultants, and feed mills.
Prior to joining Diamond V, he worked for Ridley Inc. for over 18 years as a poultry specialist, helping poultry producers optimize production and nutrition. He also formulated diets for layer hens, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, and other bird species.
Dr. Mark Farmer, the company's business manager of Layers, notes that Riggs comes to Diamond V with over 30 years of experience in the poultry health and nutrition industry. His qualifications include many years spent as a production supervisor and field supervisor for several poultry companies, including the Butterball Turkey Company, where he managed the care of over two million turkeys.
