Animal health company Merial has teamed with the British Pig Executive (BPEX) to sponsor a new Nuffield Scholarship Award dedicated to the pig industry.
The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust provides grants for the study of agriculture through travel to other countries. Under the new scholarship with Merial and BPEX, candidates can gain insight into the pig industry elsewhere in the world and to return with ideas and innovations to implement at home.
The closing date for applications this year is November 15, with interviews taking place between January 19 and 21, 2009.
