Slovenia’s Statistics Office reports that the number of pigs slaughtered in slaughterhouses in Slovenia in June was 32,340, which was 3.1 per cent lower than in May and 0.1 per cent lower than in June 2007. The weight of pigs slaughtered in June, 2,654 tonnes, was 6.1 per cent lower month-on-month and 0.9 per cent higher year-on-year.
