The Philippines has lifted the ban on imports of poultry and poultry products from Germany and Japan after the Bureau of Animal Industry confirmed that "the risk of contamination from importing poultry and poultry products from Germany and Japan is negligible," abs-cbnnews.com reported.
The World Animal Health Organization has also confirmed that the two nations have regained their "avian influenza-free status."
