Fish feed manufacturer Skretting has opened a new feed production plant in Gulluk, Turkey, built on the site of an existing warehouse.

The plant will produce feed for freshwater trout and marine species such as sea bream and sea bass. Though most of the output will be for domestic sales, some will be exported.

Production will start with one extruder line and may be increased with the addition of second and third extruder lines if demand increases, according to Levent Kayi, general manager of Skretting Turkey.
