Three Cherkizovo Group executives voted Best in Agriculture

Three Cherkizovo Group executives were named on Kommersant's annual Top 1,000 Russian Managers list.

Kommersant business daily has released its annual Top 1,000 Russian Managers ranking compiled by the Russian Managers Association. This year, the list is topped by as many as three Cherkizovo Group executives: Ludmila Mikhailova, CFO; Vladislav Belyaev, CIO; and Natalya Klepikova, Head of Government Relations.

Ludmila Mikhailova, Group CFO since 2006, has now featured in four Russian Managers Association rankings. As one example, she was No. 1 on the list of chief financial officers in the FMCG industry in 2012. In this year’s Top 1,000 Russian Managers, Ludmila Mikhailova has been named the best CFO in agriculture. She led the integration of assets acquired by Cherkizovo back in 2018, helping to grow the Group’s revenue by 20% to RUB 120.1 bn in 2019. Last year, Ludmila Mikhailova also coordinated the Group’s successful effort to refinance its debt portfolio.

Vladislav Belyaev has been recognised as the best CIO in agriculture for the second year in a row. In 2019, he pioneered the Company's machine vision tool for the online tracking of individual productivity and quality control, making Cherkizovo Group the industry’s first business to take such a step. Today, through its use of Big Data and IoT to monitor climate and process parameters at the Company's farms, Cherkizovo is one of the industry’s most innovative businesses.

Natalya Klepikova, Head of Government Relations at Cherkizovo Group, has made her debut in the Top 1,000 Russian Managers, receiving the award of the best head of GR among agricultural companies. In this role, Natalya Klepikova helped develop and launch a charitable programme across the Group’s footprint, while also working to support sporting events and cultural activities. In 2019, she facilitated Cherkizovo’s membership of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the National Union of Meat Processors, as well as the Group's presiding over the Ministry of Industry and Trade's working subgroup on import substitution in food machinery.
