Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica announces veterinary promotions

Three leaders advance in swine professional services division

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. has promoted three swine professional services veterinarians.

Dr. Tom Wetzell is named senior swine veterinarian for the company's Midwest region, which includes Minnesota and Iowa. Wetzell has been in practice for more than 30 years and received the American Association of Swine Veterinarians' Swine Practitioner of the Year award in 2004.

Dr. Angela Baysinger has been promoted to senior swine veterinarian for Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica's Midwest/Eastern Corn Belt region, which includes Kansas and Nebraska. Baysinger has more than 18 years of experience in the swine industry and joined the company in 2007. Baysinger provides special technical emphasis on field trials and projects associated with food safety and animal harvest.

Dr. Greg Cline has been promoted to senior swine veterinarian for the national accounts team, overseeing product field trials throughout the United States. Cline has more than 20 years of experience in the animal health industry.
