Iowa Swine genetic company Newsham Choice Genetics has partnered with Solla, a Columbia-based multispeciceis nutrition firm. The collaboration will develop nucleus herds using Newsham lines, with three animal exports already in South America.
These herds are designed to produce parent females, which Solla will sell to customers and use to expand its business. Newsham, North America’s second largest swine genetics supplier, is a division of Groupe Grimaud.
