Nebraska-based Lincoln Poultry & Egg Co. has been acquired by Sysco Corp. The foodservice company closed the deal for an undisclosed sum, according to a report in Bloomberg Businessweek.
Company management is expected to merge, and Lincoln’s employees will join Sysco. Lincoln is a food distributor serving over 800 customers, most in the central U.S.
