DSM has opened its first animal nutrition and health premix plant in India, located in Ambernath, Mumbai.
The new facility allows the company to directly provide products and solutions and concepts to its customers in India. This enables DSM to capitalize on opportunities that arise from rapidly developing animal nutrition and health industries in one of the world’s key growth countries; India is emerging as a global livestock production center, currently ranked fifth as a broiler producer and fourth as an egg producer, according to DSM.
