Registration has opened for the International Poultry Council’s 2018 second-semester conference, scheduled for Sept. 15-17 in Nanjing, capital of China’s Jiangsu province.
The meeting, which will be precede the VIV China exhibition in Nanjing, will be at the InterContinental hotel.
IPC members from more than 20 countries are expected to take part in the meeting.
The China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce will be the host member organization for the meeting.
Agenda topics will include a presentation on the impact on the industry of blockchain technology, a session on the status of antimicrobial usage and policies around the world, with a focus on Asia, an overview presentation on the Chinese poultry industry, and talks on burgeoning online food sales in China.
Members of the IPC Executive Committee and working groups will meet on Sept. 15, with general session programs set for Sept. 16-17. Attendees also will have the opportunity to visit the VIV show.
