The Midwest Poultry Federation (MPF) Board of Directors has made the decision that the MPF Convention will not be held during March 17-19, citing concerns related to COVID-19. The MPF board will explore potential options for postponing this show to dates later this summer.

All events and meetings associated with the MPF Convention, March 16-19, are canceled. The North Central Avian Disease Conference, the Organic Egg Symposium, and the Purina Animal Nutrition Symposium are all canceled as well.

At this point, those who registered do not need to cancel their registration since options are being explored for postponement to later dates. MPF asks people to be patient is organizers work through all the parameters in the coming weeks and will provide updates on how this process will play out with regards to postponement and any possible refunds and/or credits toward a future show.

For those who have a hotel reservation within MPF’s blocks at the Hilton, Hyatt, Millennium or Best Western Normandy, their hotel rooms will be canceled automatically and a cancellation email will be sent.

If you have a hotel reservation outside MPF’s blocks, you are responsible for cancelling your own hotel room.

Exhibitors are being asked to contact GES regarding orders at +1.800.801.7648, and to please be patient if unable to get through right away, as they are navigating cancellations of several shows. MPF will not consider issuing any booth refunds until a decision on the postponement of the show is made. Seniority and priority points for the convention will not be affected.

While MPF is disappointed that the March show will not be held, this decision is in the best interests of attendees, exhibitors, and the organization.
