A two-day seminar focusing on the importance of proper chick incubation and ventilation was held by Cobb Germany for more than 80 key players of the Hungarian chicken meat industry.
The event, which highlighted Cobb’s 500 parent stock, featured technical presentations covering how to provide for the chicks’ temperature needs, heat stress related to different climatic conditions and the importance of ventilation in achieving good environmental conditions.
Winfridus Bakker, a parent stock specialist for Cobb Germany, explained how to achieve top results during the peak production of a Cobb 500 parent flock, while nutritionist Tony Marangos discussed nutritional strategies for these flocks.
