AB Vista, a feed ingredient supplier, has been confirmed as a commercial supporter of the Fifth European Symposium of Porcine Health Management, taking place at Edinburgh's International Conference Center from May 22-24.
Jointly organized by the Pig Veterinary Society, the European College of Porcine Health Management and the European Association of Porcine Health Management, the symposium offers attendees from across the pig production sector a program filled with the latest news and science.
Speakers at the event include Dr. Paul Toplis, technical director of primary diets, who will present a paper focusing on the importance of feed intake in a newly weaned pig. The paper will cover topics such as anti-nutrients, minerals, enzymes and dietary ingredients. This will include information on the complexity of dietary nutrients and their interactions, as well as new research conducted in association with AB Vista on phytase application.
Pete Wilcock, global swine technical manager at AB Vista, said, "We are delighted to be supporting this important event in the pig industry calendar. AB Vista's revolutionary Quantum phytases are optimized specifically to benefit monogastric animals like pigs. We look forward to talking through their benefits for performance, and sharing our latest research findings, with fellow swine specialists at the European Symposium of Porcine Health Management, 2013."
