Innovation Presentations – These are open to inventors, researchers, entrepreneurs and established technology companies that have a new technology application that could benefit some aspect of the poultry supply chain that is in need of investors or industry partners to further develop, test or field trial the innovation. Innovation presentations should focus on how the technology works and what the ask from the innovators is, whether that be additional funding, someone to license the idea or poultry industry partners to test it. Innovation presentations are not appropriate for products that are in the marketplace for well established companies. Innovation presentations should focus on technology applications that are new to the poultry industry.
Technology Presentations – These are open to inventors, researchers, entrepreneurs and established technology companies that can discuss how a new technology application could provide a significant benefit to some aspect of the poultry supply chain. Technology presentations cannot be focused on an existing product and should be non-commercial. As an example, a presentation on a new method for making vaccines for poultry might be an acceptable technology presentation submission but it should be focused on the science and not a specific brand or product.
