By category, egg whites were 11 percent lower than 2007 levels; egg yolks, 34 percent lower; whole and milked frozen eggs, 5 percent higher; and unclassified frozen egg stocks, 36 percent higher.
Egg stocks post year-over-year increases
Frozen egg stocks were 9 percent above year-earlier levels on Aug. 31, but 5 percent below month-earlier levels, according to USDA’s September Cold Storage report.
