IEC conference to focus on branding

An impressive line-up of speakers will be on hand for the Spring Conference of the International Egg Commission

The forthcoming Spring Conference of the International Egg Commission will offer sessions on excellence in branding and egg processing.

Opening speaker, Peter Dart (WPP Group plc), will address issues surrounding ‘The power of brands’, followed by a discussion session. René Boender (CEO of Great Opportunities), an expert in the field of marketing, will focus on the relationship between branding and communications in his presentation, ‘No contact, no contract’.

The Egg Processors’ session offers participants the opportunity to have an input into the IEC’s research project to establish global standards for egg chemistry. Presentations will be made by Wulf Bostel (Bostel Institute in Germany) and Dr Glenn Froning (University of Nebraska, USA). John Howeth (American Egg Board) will discuss the effective marketing of egg products.

IEC’s statistical analyst, Dr Hans-Wilhelm Windhorst, (University of Vechta, Germany) will discuss ‘Bio-energy production - a threat to the global egg industry?’ Finally, Dr Hongwei Xin (Iowa State University) will present ‘Air emissions and the environment’.
