Alltech Lecture Tour grows stronger in Latin America

More than 1,500 attendees in 10 countries participated

Alltech successfully marked the end of the 19th Latin American Lecture Tour in April, with 11 meetings oriented toward positive solutions.

More than 1,500 attendees in major Latin American cities participated. The core subject of the 19th Latin American Lecture Tour — "Getting past the turbulence: Transforming crisis into opportunities" — was developed by Dr. Pearse Lyons, president and founder.

The renowned Alltech series of conferences was held in Latin America from March 30th to April 4th, in the following cities: Uberlandia and Itupeva (Brazil), Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Valencia (Venezuela), Bogota (Colombia), San Jose (Costa Rica), Guatemala (Guatemala), and finishing up in San Salvador (El Salvador).

Karl Dawson, Alltech's Global Research Director, talked about nutrigenomics, a science that measures the effects of nutritional supplements and how they alter gene instructions in the body. Dr. Fernando Rutz, an Alltech consultant, brought a complete analysis on starter diets for birds and swine, and the relevance of a strong start.
