Dr. Laurie M. Lawrence, one of the industry’s premier equine nutritionists, was honored recently as the 2008 Equine Science Award recipient during the Equine Science Society’s annual meetings in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Sponsored by Zinpro Corporation and presented in conjunction with the Equine Science Society and American /Society of Animal Science, the award was established to help recognize outstanding achievements in the areas of extension, research, teaching or agribusiness in the equine industry.
