Food processing equipment supplier names vice president

Provisur Technologies, a high performance food processing equipment provider, has announced the appointment of Brian Perkins to vice president of global product management. “Brian is a senior executive who has shown exemplary leadership in the industry,” said Mel Cohen, CEO, and President of Provisur Technologies.

Provisur Technologies, a high performance food processing equipment provider, has announced the appointment of Brian Perkins to vice president of global product management.        

“Brian is a senior executive who has shown exemplary leadership in the industry,” said Mel Cohen, CEO, and President of Provisur Technologies. “Brian’s expertise in capital equipment technology and innovation will make a critical contribution to the growth of Provisur as we develop new products to meet our customer’s evolving needs,” said Cohen.

Perkins is a successful senior leader with more than 20 years’ management experience in the manufacturing sector, where he honed his expertise in international growth strategies, business development, marketing and operations management. His ability to continually increase market share and both lead and encourage innovation will serve him well in his executive role at Provisur.

In this new role, Perkins will plan and direct all aspects of Provisur’s product management and marketing strategies, initiatives, policies and objectives on a worldwide basis. Helming strategic and tactical leadership across all product lines within Provisur’s portfolio, Perkins will spearhead the ongoing development of new products and identify further opportunities for growth.

Before joining Provisur Technologies, Perkins was general manager for the Canning Systems Business Unit at John Bean Technologies, in Madera, Cal., where he headed one of the company’s largest business units, restructuring its global operations and leading its business development and acquisition initiatives. In prior positions at John Bean Technologies, (previously FMC and FMC Technologies), he served in various sales, marketing and business management roles in the company’s Airport Ground Support and Citrus Systems business units. Fluent in English and French, Perkins earned a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Syracuse University.
