German-based Addcon produces Kofa Grain, as well as other feed additives, grain preservatives and silage additives.

“In the beginning, we were aiming at finding a unique product for stabilizing moist grain. Today we are marketing a product that is safe, non-corrosive and very effective in preventing microbial spoilage also in complete feeds, and in improving digestion at the same time,” said Kurt Wegleitner from Addcon's marketing team.

Kofa Grain has multiple applications. It can be used in grains and compound feeds as well as in the preservation of silages, high-moisture hay and by-products from the food industry.

The product is available to all EU member states and other European countries. In addition, Kofa Grain pH5 has been used in China for a number of years. Addcon has also announced the successful registration of the product in Russia.
