Henningsen Cold Storage Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul G. Henningsen, Jr. as president, effective May 1.
Henningsen has served the company since 1987, primarily growing through the ranks of the company's engineering department where he was responsible for the development, design, construction and management of all capital projects, including more than 20 expansions, improvements and new facility projects. In 2014, he was appointed chief operating officer, a logical step to prepare him for his new role as president.
"Paul's company and industry experience, along with his familiarity with Henningsen's renowned company culture, positioned him as the right person to lead the organization through its next growth phase," says Gary Eichman, chairman of the company.
Henningsen succeeds his cousin, Mike Henningsen, who will retire May 31.
"It has been a pleasure serving alongside Paul, and the entire Henningsen team, over the past 30 years. I look forward to remaining on the Board of Directors, working closely with Paul, and assuring his time as president is as successful and rewarding as mine," said Mike.
