Bischof will oversee the use of technology to drive innovation and business growth, while Kulka will manage operations, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

“Bischof and Kulka will partner to deliver technology initiatives for the business. This dual leadership model allows a simultaneous focus on business relationships and operational efficiencies to drive excellence throughout Tyson Foods,” the company said in an emailed statement.

The moves come after the January departure of Scott Spradley, who had been the CTO for about five years. During the interim, Spradley’s role had ben shared by members of the company’s information technology team.

During a call with members of the media on February 6, King expressed that the company remained committed to furthering its digital technology transformation, and that I was evaluating candidates that the company had internally for such leadership positions.
