For the 2010 International Poultry Expo (IPE), Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau and the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association have created FeatherFest: a weeklong event with 40 Atlanta restaurants in a culinary competition to create the best appetizers, entrees and desserts based on poultry meat or eggs.
IPE convention attendees and Atlanta residents are encouraged to dine at some of the participating restaurants and vote for their favorite dish.
FeatherFest voting will go live Jan. 22 and run through Jan. 28. Winners will be announced the final day of the show, Friday, January 29, and will be presented with a plaque of recognition as the dish of choice for FeatherFest 2010.
