JBS S.A. communicates to its shareholders and to the market that the rating agency Standard and Poor’s (S&P) upgraded JBS S.A. credit rating to BBB- from BB+, with a stable outlook.
According to the S&P report, “Brazilian protein producer JBS S.A. has taken steps to improve risk controls and has now some track record of more prudent risk management and better board effectiveness.”
In 2021, rating agencies Fitch Ratings (Fitch) and Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s) had already upgraded JBS to investment grade, and thus, with the rating by the three agencies, the company is considered Full Investment Grade.
