JBT inks deals with German processors

Contracts worth $5.4 million

Chicago-based JBT Corp. announced that its FoodTech division has secured $5.4 million in contracts to supply freezing goods for two German-based food processing plants. The deals with OSI Food Solutions GmbH, the German subsidiary of Chicago’s OSI Group, are expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2010.

The company will supply one OSI plant with a hamburger patty freezing line and another plant a freezer system for poultry products. OSI sells food products to food companies and quick service restaurants around the world. JBT serves the food processing and transportation industries.
