CAT² expands presence in Turkey

CAT² has announced a new partnership with Entomak, located in Istanbul, Turkey. Entomak has provided engineering and consulting services to the food industry in Turkey and the surrounding region since 1998. Entomak will serve as CAT²'s agent in the region, providing sales information and customer support.

This partnership will expand CAT²'s reach in the region and build upon our successes with other regional food manufactures like Banvit, a fully-integrated broiler producer in Turkey, processing 160 million birds per year. Banvit has implemented a complete suite of CAT² solutions at their plant including complete primary processing, further processing and food safety systems. Our partnership with Entomak will ensure that customers like Banvit have local access to support and training.

“We have major plans for expansion over the next two years,” said CAT² CEO Vernon Smith. “We now have customers on six continents. It’s necessary for us to expand our physical footprint in order to support our growth.”

CAT² is headquartered in Conway, AR, with a Latin American office located in Celaya, Mexico. The company's customers include 60% of the top 50 meat and poultry companies in North America. CAT² specializes in innovative software solutions designed specifically for the food industry including beef, pork, chicken, turkey, seafood, produce, primary processing and other processing plants.
