Trevor Aitchison has been named general manager, Americas, for Hendrix Genetics’ Hybrid Turkeys business.
His appointment is effective immediately.
“Trevor has almost 30 years of experience with Hybrid Turkeys, working his way up the ranks through various roles over the years, most recently as general manager, Turkey Breeding, North America,” the company stated in a press release.
With Aitchison’s focus on Hybrid Turkeys’ operations in the Americas, and Laurent Souti continuing as general manager, EMEA, the company expressed confidence that it has dedicated leadership in each key region, allowing “full attention and focus on our customers and delivering quality products to the industry.”
Aitchison succeeds T.J. Koewler, who had held that position since April 29, 2022. Koewler, who came to Hybrid Turkeys from Darling Ingredients, where he was a regional vice president.
“T.J. Koewler has left the employment of Hendrix Genetics and will be pursuing interests outside of the company. We thank T.J. for his contributions to Hendrix Genetics and to the animal breeding industry, and wish him well in his future endeavors,” the press release stated.
