To celebrate Mother’s Day, KFC is offering the Kentucky Fried Buckquet — a bucket of arranged flowers and skewered fried chicken.
In a collaboration with Proflowers, customers can get a free flower arrangement with any online pre-order of the sides lovers meal between May 1 and 3.
“A regular bouquet of flowers is a good gift for mom, but a sides lovers meal and Kentucky Fried Buckquet is a finger lickin’ good way to take Mother’s Day from a 10 to an 11," said KFC CMO Nick Chavez. “With three sides, four buttery biscuits and the unforgettable – truly – fried chicken and flower table decoration, everybody is sure to get something they like to eat, and mom is sure to smile.”
The sides lovers meal is $26.99 and comes with eight extra crispy tenders or eight pieces of KFC fried chicken, four baked biscuits and a choice of three large sides including secret recipe fries, mac & cheese, cole slaw and mashed potatoes with or without gravy.
After pre-ordering the meal, customers will receive a promo code they can redeem at Proflowers to schedule a free delivery of the dozen multi-colored roses. The customer will need to assemble the Buckquet after it arrives.
Mother’s Day is one of KFC’s best sales days of the year with nearly 400,000 buckets sold each Mother’s Day.
For the first time, KFC is also offering quick pick-up with online ordering where customers can go to the participating restaurant after ordering, park in the designated VIP spot and pick up their order which will be waiting on the quick pick-up shelf.
