Buffalo Wild Wings has closed the last of its locations in Canada.

"Buffalo Wild Wings routinely evaluates locations to serve our guests best, and we have made the difficult decision to close our sports bars in Canada. We thank our guests for supporting Buffalo Wild Wings throughout the years," Buffalo Wild Wings parent company Inspire Brands said in a statement emailed to WATT Global Media.

According to a report from Daily Hive, the chain, which once had multiple locations in the provinces of Ontario and Alberta, quietly closed its last three restaurants in Ontario, which were in Hamilton-Ancaster, Mississauga and Windsor.

In March, the same news outlet reported that the last of its Alberta restaurants, both of which were in Calgary, had closed.

On the homepage of Buffalo Wild Wings’ Canadian website appears a message that offers a refund for people who purchased or received a Buffalo Wild Wings Canadian gift card. The only other options given to website users are to contact the company or visit the company’s websites for the markets in India, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Inspire Brands formed in when Buffalo Wild Wings, formerly a publicly traded company, was acquired by Arby’s Restaurant Group for a price of US$2.9 billion.

Since that time, Inspire Brands has grown. The company now also owns Dunkin', Jimmy John’s, Sonic and Baskin Robbins.
