Karl Gerrand has been appointed chief operating officer, processing, by Viterra Inc., with responsibilities including its feed manufacturing activities in Canada, the U.S. and New Zealand.

Gerrand's appointment forms part of the group’s formalizing of its global structure around the three business lines of grain, agri-products and processing. Gerrand will be responsible for all of Viterra's processing operations globally including wheat and oat milling, malt, pasta, oilseed crushing and feed manufacturing.
