The China International Animal Husbandry Expo, known as CAHE, is an event held from May 18-20 each year, but in different locations. The event is well known for showcasing developments in the Chinese livestock industry and presenting improvements in new and established companies and businesses. Livestock featured at the show include pork, poultry, cattle, sheep, goat, rabbit, deer, camel and fur-bearing animals. CAHE is organized by the China Animal Husbandry Association.
After 19 years of successful events, CAHE has become the second largest livestock show in the world and proven to be a critical part of the livestock industry by playing promoting the development of industry and foreign exchanges. Since 2014, CAHE has been officially approved by the Ministry of Commerce to be the China International Animal Husbandry Expo.

When and where?
The event will be held at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu, China, on May 18-20, 2022, from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
The exhibition area includes 16 indoor exhibition halls, seven outdoor greenhouses and 5,000 square meters of booths. The exhibition will be divided into two floors and an outdoor exhibition area. A map of the exhibition hall can be viewed online.

Statistics from 2019
According to the CAHE’s website, almost 180,000 people attended the 2019 expo. Additionally, there were 1,200 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions. International participation was 20.83% with the help of almost 180 companies from the U.S., Germany, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Israel, Turkey and more.
