The poultry industry is facing an improving economic situation after the initial shock of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The poultry industry is facing an improving economic situation after the initial shock of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a WATT Poultry Chat interview, Mark Jordan, executive director of LEAP Market Analytics, said the worst of the economic shocks related to the global crisis are behind us but there is still plenty of difficulties ahead.

The future still includes much uncertainty, Jordan said, and the potential for a so-called second wave of COVID-19 lurks ahead.
