Dr. Sheilah Robertson, a U.S. veterinarian based in Gainesville, Florida, has been announced as the winner of the Animal Welfare category in the 2024 World Veterinary Association Global Veterinary Awards. Nominated by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Dr. Robertson received the 2023 Animal Welfare award for her outstanding contributions to animal welfare at both national and international levels.
